After all the excitement of the brilliant G.A.A. World Games, it is now back to local action in both codes
Opening with the Senior Camogie Championship, when we take on six times county champions and reigning All Britain champions Tara , in the second round at Greenford , after receiving a bye in the first round, this will be a real tough opener. Fr Murphy’s are building a team after a few lean years and have enjoyed some success already in 2016, winning the Tara 7’s plate , as well as the Mixed League, also reaching the Intermediate final, loosing to Croydon, so the girls are hopeful of putting up a good challenge in The All Britain Senior Championship.

Our Footballers reopen the Senior league campaign, in Goodmayes against the home side Thomas Mc Curtains in what promises to be another tough challenge, after a very bright start to the season the football girls have suffered from a few long term injuries and a few girls moving away, but the aim is to consolidate the teams position and lay down the foundations for a solid start to 2017.
